Important Update for Emailed Applications

Arts Nova Scotia now has an application auto-confirmation policy:

All applications sent to ArtsNS Submissions should receive an auto-reply confirmation. If you do not receive confirmation within one week, please contact a program officer. You must contact the program officer within two weeks of the deadline for us to consider your application. Applications will only be considered if there is proof of email being sent by the deadline.

New Artists in Communities Program Announced

Arts Nova Scotia has created a new Artists in Communities program that will support organizations, groups, and individuals to develop and carry out community-based arts projects.

In early 2021 the Arts Nova Scotia Board and the Creative Nova Scotia Leadership Council hosted 10 virtual sessions, individual one-on-one consultations, and an email survey, and heard from more than 200 stakeholders about their concerns, recommendations, and visions for our sector as the province begins to plan its post-COVID-19 recovery strategies.
