A grant from Arts Nova Scotia is something to celebrate! Acknowledging it publicly is a great way to let others know that your work is supported by your community of peers and that arts help make Nova Scotia a better place. It also helps communicate the public value of arts funding.
What is required?
We ask that you acknowledge the support you receive from Arts Nova Scotia in all communications related to your funded project or organization.
You can do this by including our logo and a written statement that reads:
We acknowledge the support of Arts Nova Scotia.

Some of our programs and projects receive funding from Nova Scotia Gaming Support4Culture. Your Terms and Conditions letter will say if you are required to include the Support4Culture logo.

Is that all? How else can we acknowledge Arts Nova Scotia?
Yes, that is all that is required but there are many other ways to acknowledge Arts Nova Scotia support, communicate the public value of the arts, and showcase the art created across our province.
Here are some other things you can do:
• Spread the word about your events! Consider inviting media or your local elected officials to your events.
• Tag your MLA in your social media acknowledgements. Let them know what Arts Nova Scotia is funding in their community and how it is appreciated.
• Tell us your good news! Don’t wait until your final report to let us know about your successes or send us photos. We are always looking for stories for our annual report and online communications. Your program officer is always the best place to start.
