Arts Nova Scotia is looking for new board members.
Arts Nova Scotia is an independent agency of the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage governed by an 11-member board of directors who oversee funding to professional artists and arts organizations, arts education programs and a number of arts awards and prizes.
The governance committee of Arts Nova Scotia is currently seeking individuals with experience in the arts and culture sector who would be interested in joining the board of directors.
The membership of the Arts Nova Scotia Board must reflect the diversity found within the Province’s arts community and, where possible, include representation from differing art disciplines, regions, generations and the Province’s cultural mosaic including, but not limited to, representation from the African Nova Scotian, Mi’kmaq and Acadian communities, and balanced representation between men and women.
